My teeth have been really sensitive lately?
Always use a soft toothbrush, never medium/hard. Avoid scrubbrushing at all costs (horizontal brushing-back and forth), if you can get an electric toothbrush-oral b makes a great line and there is also the sonicare. Try to angle your brush at 45 degrees to the gumlines and brush down from the top, up from the bottom. This is called modified bass technique-you can look it up online. If you notice your toothbrush bristle flaring you are brushing too hard and should replace your brush. Use a sensitivity toothpaste- brush with it and smear a bit on the teeth after using a clean finger-just let it sit. Also, if you are grinding this can also cause recession, definately get a nightguard made-it is a plastic guard you can wear at night to protect your teeth, I would suggest getting it from a dentist as it is custom fitted.
