Can you explain these supreme court cases in modern english?

I only know one case, Bush v. Gore, in 2000 Florida was really close in votes, Bush ended up winning Florida and became president, Gore believed they election was rigid. Bush brother was the Governor of Florida, So Bush and Gore went to the S.C. and the S.C. sided with Bush, therefore Bush became president. lol
