HARRY POTTER FANS: What are midnight premieres like?

I bought my tickets last week for the Deathly Hallows Part 2 premiere, I saw Part 1 the day it opened but not midnight. This is my first midnight premiere for any movie. Can anyone tell me the atmosphere, reactions and just the differences between a midnight premiere and a normal showing? Thanks.
